Shetland Supreme 2Ply Jumper is a natural woollen spun yarn, from the finest Shetland natural shades of fleece, using no dyes. Carefully hand sorted for quality and colour, scoured to the highest standards thus giving the user a superb quality, environmentally friendly yarn, kind to the end user and our planet. The distinctive names for these yarns are from the Shetland dialect and sometimes have a Norse connection.

This definitely exceeded expectations - it was twice as nice as expected. I hadn't read the product description properly and the ball was 50 grams, not 25. As the main project for which it is intended may use just a shade more than 25 grams, at least in my inexpert hands, this is perfect. The colour is also exactly what I wanted, almost black but more complex than a straight dyed black.
