Yarn pack containing all the wool to knit the J&S colourway of the Buggiflooer Beanie designed by the 2023 Wool Week Patron Alison Rendall: 2ply Jumper Weight shades 77 x 2 and 90, FC34, 14, 96 and 9097 x 1 each.

In response to feedback, we have added an extra ball of the Main Shade 77 - it should be enough to have one ball of each if you match the gauge exactly but we have included an extra ball to be safe. (we knitted the small size on the needles specified and did not need a second ball)

The pattern can be purchased separately as a paper copy or as a digital version from the Shetland Wool Week website

PLEASE NOTE: This is a yarn pack and does not contain a copy of the pattern.

I am in the US, so it costs a lot of time and money to go to Shetland Wool Week. As a small consolation, I buy a yarn pack to make the year's hat. Last year I bought one from a local yarn shop. This year the color I wanted to make was originally made with J&S yarn, but the local yarn's pack was Spindrift "equivalent" colors. When I looked at the J&S Web site, I was GREATLY surprised to find that their yarn pack was CHEAPER - even including shipping from Shetland - AND included an extra skein!
