This hat is a classic fair-isle design by Lesley Smith, It's knitted in the round in stranded colourwork, the pattern has a combination of written instructions and charts. The finished size is 50cm/20” circumference and 20cm/8” from brim to crown. This hat pattern matches the Skaw Mitts. The kit contains the wool and pattern to knit the Skaw Hat/ You will also need:
3mm x 40 cm circular needle for the rib
3.5 x 40 circular needle for hat body
Set of 3.5mm DPN's for the crown
