Paper copy of the Winter Yoke Gansey designed by Sandra Manson for Wool Week in 2011, a traditional Shetland yoke with a back neck opening. The pattern is not written with the yoke worked in the round but a steek can be added for that section.
You will need:
Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight
– 100% Real Shetland Wool (118m/25g ball).
Yarn A – Shade 54: 9 (12) x 25g balls
Yarn B – Shade 1: 2 x 25g balls
Yarn C – Shade 142: 1 x 25g ball
Yarn D – Shade 132: 1 x 25g ball
Yarn E – Shade FC34: 1 x 25g ball
Yarn F – Shade 75: 1 x 25g ball
You will also need:
3mm (UK 11/US 2-3) needles - long circular or DPN
3.5mm (UK 10/US 4) needles - long circular or DPN
