Peerie Lynsey - a new old pattern
We've just released our Peerie Lynsey online. This Fair Isle kit was originally made for Oliver's grandaughter, Lynsey, who is shown wearing the finished ganzie when she was just a peerie thing. Here's Lynsey a couple of months ago in the yarn store...So, as you can see, the pattern has been around for a while but it's never been online - shock horror! So here it is, for a whole new generation of peerie things to enjoy. The kit comes in 3 sizes (24", 28" and 32") and is a smaller version of the unisex adult Lynsey, a Jamieson & Smith favourite. x

We are getting very excited about stocking beautiful products from Aamos Designs as part of the J&S Cooperative, which aims to promote products made using Real Shetland Wool. Aamos Designs is a local textile design company based in Scalloway. Owner and designer, Emma Blain, combines traditional and contemporary elements to achieve striking pieces which are fashionable, timeless and just plain cool, all at the same time.
