Collection: Natural Combed Tops

The natural shades of wool used in our combed tops come from the fleece of Real Shetland sheep, we purchase the wool directly from Shetland’s crofters and farmers, grade and sort it ourselves, and send it to our parent company, Curtis Wool Direct in Haworth, Bradford, where it is scoured to the highest standards and then combed.

These tops are ideal for felting and hand spinning. Because they are processed, they can also be shipped abroad to countries with strict fibre regulations that prevent the import of raw fleece.
