Paper copy of the Antarctica Allover designed by Sandra Manson, knit in 9 shades of 2ply Jumper Weight it is knit in the round up to the oxters then steeks are used for the armholes and neck.
You will need:
Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight (100% Real Shetland Wool, 115m/125yds, 25g)

2.5mm needles for ribs and 3mm for Fair Isle.

This jumper is knitted in the round up to the armholes. To enable you to then continue knitting in the round, extra stitches are cast on after the underarm stitches have been placed on a stitch holder or waste yarn. These extra stitches are "steeksî and are knitted in a1x1 stripe pattern. The same method is used at the neck opening. All steek stitches are cast off at the shoulder. When your garment is complete, cut down the centre stitch of each steek, fold over and neatly sew down on the inside. During the instructions, Sizes 2 & 3 are in parentheses.
