Designed by lace designer Gladys Amedro for Jamieson & Smith Cobweb Lace.

This shawl is named after Gibbie Johnson, who managed our wool store from 1958 until 1989.

Knitting begins with the scalloped lace edging and works in towards the centre.

Finished size 50î square. Longhand pattern. Kit contains pattern and yarn -.

You will also need: 1 circular needle 3.75mm (US 9) x 80cm, 1 circular needle 3.75mm (US 9) x 60cm and double pointed needles size 3.5 (US 10).
