Shetland Heritage – 500g Cone
Equivalent to 20 balls – approx. 2,200m / 2,400yds

Shetland Heritage is a worsted spun yarn developed in collaboration with the Shetland Museum and Archives to replicate the feel and appearance of handspun 'wursit' used in 19th-century Fair Isle knitwear. Spun from combed Real Shetland Wool, it has a soft, smooth finish and produces crisp definition in both plain and stranded knitting. Slightly finer than modern 4ply, this yarn brings an authentic touch to traditional patterns and colourwork.

    My purchase atm is it and miss has I've never used this product before and im still trying needle sizes to obtain a good tension.
