Our flagship yarn, 2ply Jumper Weight is 100% Real Shetland Wool, traditionally used for Fair Isle knitting and prized for its depth of colour and exceptional spinning quality. Supplied on 500g cones in its unwashed, production state, this yarn is perfect for machine knitting or large-scale projects. It will need to be washed after knitting to remove spinning oils and allow the fibres to bloom into their finished softness.

Tension / Gauge

  • 30 sts x 32 rows = 10cm (4in) over stocking stitch on 3.25mm needles

Please Note: This yarn is sold in its unwashed state for production use. It must be washed after knitting to achieve its final softness and finish.

    Love your wool

    I always love you your Wool especially on the cones which are good value. I don’t mind the washing of the wall after Knitting. Still struggling with your website as there are areas which do not work you need to test every part. As you want to maximise all sales and not get frustrated people.
