Lace Weight L78

2ply Lace Weight yarn is woollen spun from a blend of fine Real Shetland wool and lambswool, creating a smoother, softer yarn that gently tames the natural Shetland halo. Traditionally used in Shetland lace haps and scarves, it’s also ideal for lightweight garments such as wraps, summer jumpers, and lace shawls.

This yarn has a crisp finish once washed, offering excellent stitch definition. It can also be used for vintage patterns that call for "3ply yarns."

• 24 sts x 36 rows = 10cm (4in) on 3mm needles in lace patterns
