Leaves Tam Kit by Outi Kater, this slouchy hat, knitted in 2 Ply Jumper Weight, combines two leaf designs: leaves of open booksóa motif from Outiís native Finlandówind their way around the body of the tam while plant leaves sit pretty on the crown.

    My Red Wall Tamm

    Shetland forever is my motto. A dedicated Fair Isle knitter for the past 60 years (alas), with two visits to the Shetlands behind me and another possible, this tam pattern was just right. I have made two wall tams for myself and have given numerous ones to friends and family. What else is there to say, other than your yarns and patterns make my life and that of my students, friends and family a most wonderful color adventure. Thank you.
