Kit for the Sletts Shawl, originally released in the 1980's as 'My Weekly Baby Knits Shawl L252' and designed by Gladys Amedro this 2ply Shawl makes a beatuful Hap for everyday use or for a christening, we have recently redeveloped this pattern and you can now choose which pattern you want, this one is:

2ply Lace shade L1, written pattern - knit in Woollen Spun 2ply Lace and the pattern written out line by line as Gladys' original pattern - finished size 50" x 50"

For both shawls the The edging is worked first and then all the inside stitches are picked up and the four borders are worked at the same time in the round. The centre is then worked and attached to the inside of the borders as it is knit. Kit contains yarn and pattern.
