Shetland Heritage Natural Moorit

Shetland Heritage Naturals expands on the success of the dyed Shetland Heritage range, offering a beautiful palette of completely undyed, natural fleece shades. These colours work seamlessly with the original range and bring additional depth and warmth to traditional Fair Isle and colourwork knitting.

Like the dyed version, this yarn is based on the historic wursit handspun yarns used in 19th-century Fair Isle garments. It was developed in collaboration with the Shetland Museum and Archives, using samples from their collection. Worsted spun from combed Real Shetland wool, it has a soft handle and smooth finish. Slightly finer than modern 4ply, it offers excellent stitch definition and subtle pattern details

• Handwash, dry flat
