Worsted spun for softness and strength, Shetland Heritage Naturals is a smooth, fine 4ply yarn based on historic Fair Isle knitwear in the Shetland Museum and Archives collection. This undyed range uses the natural fleece shades of purebred Shetland sheep, echoing the colours and texture of handspun ‘wursit’ from the 1800s. Slightly finer than modern 4ply, it gives crisp definition in colourwork and a soft, classic handle.
