Paper copy of the Thrift Hat kit by Outi Kater, the word 'thrift' comes from Old Norse, meaning prosperity. Thrift is also another name for sea pink, a small plant growing in abundance on the sea cliffs and shores of Shetland.

Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight ñ 100% Real Shetland Wool (115m/125yds/25g ball)

Yarn A ñ Shade 21: 1 x 25g ball

Yarn B ñ Shade FC47: 1 x 25g ball

Yarn C ñ Shade 2: 1 x 25g ball

Yarn D ñ Shade 9097: 1 x 25g ball

You will also need:

2.75mm (UK12/US2) short DPNs, set of five, or your preferred needles for working small diameters in the

round, or size required to obtain tension

Stitch markers or waste yarn

Tapestry needle

Small amount of card or a pompom maker for making the pompom

To fit average adult head 52-57cm/ 20.5-22.5in
